Worlds prohibiting flights from India

Governmen’s COVID free-for-all has forced the world to ban travel to India. More than 26 countries are no longer allowing travel back and forth from India. The ripples of Indian Government’s incompetence have been felt around the world.

What do we NRIs who have family back home do? We are stuck because of this ineffective COVID management by Govt of India. more

Accolades too the government gets, along with being 7 year in power! When they authoritatively take decisions, then those powers have to take the consequences thereof. Simple Karmic law. Objective decision by other countries would be an objective assessment of government. Cannot say developed countries approval okay, for example, Ease of Doing Business 2020: India ascended 17 notches, ranked at 63rd position by The World Bank, but this move, wrong. Blaming world's responses means living in denial. Agree, COVID management by Govt of India, ineffective more
It has become a fashion for we Indians including NRIs to blame our government for every odds but rather come forward to appreciate for remarkable achievements in various fields particularly, if the government in office is not of our choice. The reasons for wild spread of the disease during its second wave is more or less known to us. Our being indisciplined in every walk of life and negligent and arrogant in complying with the Covid guidelines to keep the virus away issued by the government and its various agencies from time to time are largely responsible for such wild spread up. However, it's not an effort to give a clean cheat to the government. It had certainly become complacent to some extent after managing the first wave despite forecast of the second wave coming from various world agencies. Looking to our population density and indifferent attitude of our masses inviting fast spread of the virus, the government should have been more cautious and necessary machinery put in action well in advance. Even if the spread of the virus would be lesser, it would have adverse affects on international flights alike the first wave. Under such a situation our government had come forward last year to stand by our stranded people by introducing a flight named 'Bande Bharat' for various destinations across the globe and hopefully it will be done this year as well. Please therefore, don't be disheartened. more
Both opposition and media must stop negative publicity. Also those who have taken both the dosages world over should be allowed to travel. more
Negativity is one aspect, but one should also be open with facts, when they help knowing the reality, even if negative. Truth surfaces sooner or later, and with greater relevance, the truth remains suppressed. Changing ones opinion in the face of newer facts also necessary also a quality that helps dealing with situation. Continuing saying how well India did last year during the pandemic that engulfed the world, our country included, will help boost morale, but for saving ourselves, active treatments, such as vaccinating people, getting hospitals ready, and so on, more necessary than simply a lockdown. Lockdown good then, as the only option, with vaccine being ready, or infratructure being better prepared now, actively managing covid more necessary now. more
Govt must do lineancy and ease common people living conditions more comfortable. I am sure that more than seventy percent of population are agitating within themselves with the tight control exercise by govt in the pretext of reducing covid! That's ridiculous abd foolish. All media must be advised to drastically reduce their unnecessary campaign and showing only negative effects. Don't confuse people with common seasonal fever and cold as Covid.. more
