India should put a check on its burgeoning population India must put an end to inorganic growth (influx of illegal migrants from neighboring countries) and through enlightenment or through practical encouragement should promote family planning in all sections of society. more

Mr. Iyer, as people enter the middle class, they voluntarily tend to use methods of contraception to limit family size. I suggest that the government should keep out of forcibly regulating population through legislation. Education about benefits of small family & use of contraceptives is enough. more  
Population growth will not be a problem if the country has the resources. Today because this country could not provide them education and employment thousands and thousands of Indians are engaged in doing menial jobs in the middle eastern countries. If this condition is to change there should be population control, say two children per family; not in dozens. param307@gmail.com more  
We should learn to see population as an asset not as a burden. This Socialist/Communist concept of birth control has to go. more
