Delhi at 4039 daily cases
Record 4039 new cases of Covid-19 in Delhi today. This is the highest single day tally of covid in the state. Previously, in June, 3947 cases were reported in a single day. I have been saying for 2 weeks that the second wave is here in Delhi and our Govts are clueless and some supporters of Govt are having trouble with it.
If this continues and dilliwalaa dont restrain themselves we will have 10000 daily cases by Diwali and those needing a bed wont find one.
But large number of positive tests (over 4000), rising hospitalisation and number of deaths still shows an alarming situation. Wearing of masks, social distancing and avoiding crowds as far as possible, are still absolutely necessary if the positivity rate has to be brought down and maintained below 5% which is the indicator of real improvement. Also, Rt level indicating transmission index has gone up in Delhi from 0.89 to more than 1.0. This is also very worrying.

Restraint is required by Public. Govt. has raised hands - whether it's Hon'ble CM or the Hon'ble LG. Being a dilliwaala i know this is tough because economic activity s forcing us to move out. No choice left. Either your body and luck fights covid or you perish economically. No support to common citizens/dilliwaala: Medical Bills School fees Electricity water gas charges house tax income tax petrol prices Chai paani has increased. lockdown period ka bhi to laao warna bhaag jao kaam nahi hoga. dirty politics at it's best and at it's peak. rhea pehle, covid chalta hai. Jis tarah ki society hum bana rahe the, covid sirf uska aaina dikha raha hai.

yo are just pointing out daily positive cases without comparing with no. of tests conducted. If you analyse, 1000+ cases are reported over per 10000 tests which is less than what we noticed earlier 1200+. Therefore, the no. of positive are reducing per 10000 and need not to blame public for not following norms.
