Censorship Board is a failure in India

I have liked movies, and I have not liked movies.
Yesterday, I saw the movie, Animal. And I disliked it. The characters were toxic; violence, misogyny & abuse was glorified as alpha male behaviour.

Young boys in the hall were cheering & that’s what makes the movie dangerous. Dangerous for the society.

Such movies are inappropriate to screen even in adult but uneducated immature audiences as it can lead to a good bit of harm.

I feel the censor board needs to have half females, some with social bent so certification process is more comprehensive.

The current board fails again and again. more

That's what I've been doing. I would rather spend my money on something worth than going in theatre and watch such senseless movies. If people stop watching such movies in theatre, that will definitely discourage directors to make them. more
you people are idiots that don't have what it takes to be number one in the world. On Sun, Dec 3, 2023 at 11:01 PM Anita Chaturvedi wrote: > more
Once again government can only make suggestions but we are not in old USSR controlled India where we only inserted socialist propaganda and controlled the rest. Once again it being a private business they are following the global trend and what makes money. more
The producers, directors, actors, regulators etc have a single motive I.e. film/ad/episode must be a big hit. To achieve this target they go to any extent. This concept is going against the Indian culture thereby leaving the older generation in pain. more
