Garbage collection is Ok in DA Block Shalimar Bagh,but regular sweeping by safai karamchri on roads is very poor

Garbage Collection van comes daily ,Good service,but these vans should be covered.

I do appreciate the good work done by the current system. Especially the kind of experience I do have with Government Contractors. But can we go one step further, especially in rich / educated colonies. We have different vehicles for kitchen, plastic, bio, paper, hazardous waste (segregating in wet and dry is only the half job done) - it will be economical and segregation for recycle and reuse will be possible. We can have compactor for plastic / card board - for cheaper transportation etc.

Can we start segregation at source and use different vans for different type of garbage. I have seen the same in Canada. They segregate in to four - kitchen, plastic, thrash, paper separately. Government has provided different colored dist bin for each and separate truck comes once in a week - big one 20 T with compactor. We can modify our vans given the road space of Delhi?

VERY POOR IN ROHINI DELHI AREA

MCD van comes daily.But d man dont bother to pick up d garbage to throw into d van.Small height citizens dont reach d height of d van.Pl. instruct accordingly.
