BSNL - Chennai

Recently BSNL offcials came to ur compled and promised fibrenet connection immediately. However it is 6 months since then no action from them. Cant expect any better service from BSNL

Area: Padi pudhu nagar, Anna nagar west.
BSNL:
New Connection: Within a week after paying deposit
Billing: Good
Connection: Fails frequently
Response time 2 days

Quite strange BSNL could not provide new connection in Medavakkam Sowmyanagar an upcoming suburb despite having an exchange in Medavakkam. Whereas they are serving in remote corner.

Still there are many places in Chennai and suburbans where in getting new connection of BSNL is our of reach; simply the answer - No Cables, new line can't be laid. One way these people are gifted by god for not getting BSNL connection. However in areas where cable is laid, getting new connection is withing normal time limit only.
